Cannery Brewing's LakeBoat Lager is a tribute to the S.S. Sicamous. The S.S. Sicamous is a unique historical landmark in Penticton. Operational from 1914 until 1935, today it is the largest of four steam-driven stern wheeled lake vessels that have been restored in Canada. The classic combination of Pilsner malt and Saaz hops produces a crisp, clean and refreshing finish.

Okay medium gold and minimal foam, very soft grain aroma. Good lager flavour, smooth hops. Crisp finish. Decent enough craft lager.

On tap at Cannery, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry, with biscuity malt and light cereal. Flavour is crisp and dry, with biscuity malt and straw. Crisp and easy drinking. Decent, boring lager.

Bottle from Westminster Liquor Store in Penticton
Pale blond color. Mild aroma, with tones of corn, cereals, honey, vegetables. Dry mouthfeel, with light malt flavor, some late corn syrup sweetness, and low bitterness.
Very simple.

Pale straw colour. Light straw and grain aroma. The flavour is light but like crunching pale malt. Quick, indistinctive entrant to the lager stakes.
