Following the introduction of the bottom-fermented brewing process in the mid-19th century, a new beer type became popular and shaped the consumption habits of beer drinkers. That is why Dortmunder style is considered a milestone in the development of beer culture in the world and became a synonym for superior quality. 0.5l can. Pale yellow body with a thin but lasting white head. Aroma of hay and sugar syrup with a decent amount of spicy hops and some pears. Taste of bready, grainy malts, sugar syrup and some spicy hops. The taste could use a bit more hops, but still a correct beer.

Pours clerc golden with a tracing white head. Aroma of honey and malt. Taste has sweet malt, mead-like notes, slightly grassy. Palate has burnt honey, very subtle hop elements. Interesting.

Can 500 ml. Golden color, clear, white foam. Aroma: malty, a bit hoppy, grassy. Taste: pils malt, light grassy bitterness, drinkable, clear.

Two 500ml bottles from Beers of Europe, BBE May 2020. Drank at home on 20th Mar 2020. Clear, clean and bright golden body, snow white crown on top ( didn't last too long though). Light malty nose and taste, mild hop content for balance, nothing really stands out, but it's a refreshing enough beer I and enjoyed my two bottles.

lattina 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine evanescente, colore giallo carico limpido, al naso cerali note erbacee, in bocca malto cereali leggero miele, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, amaro percettibile. Dai…. Non è poi così male. c. COOP Luino 15.02.20

Puszka. Słomkowe, klarowne, piana szybko opada. Aromat nikły, biszkoptowy. W smaku lekko słodkie, trochę mineralne. Goryczka bardzo niska. Wysycenie wysokie, piwo mocno wodniste. Niby czysto, ale wszystko jest tak delikatne, że smakuje jak piwo rozcieńczone mocnogazowaną wodą mineralną.

Sweetish, malty aroma. Neutral, sweetish taste with a hint of metal. Light bitter aftertaste, a bit soapy. Not worth buying again.
