This crisp 4.7% ABV lager is created with all English ingredients and is perfect for all occasions. Using East Anglian extra pale malted barley and wheat, with Goldings hops from Hertfordshire and Kent. Kobold Lager is a crisp, clean, classic style. Light bready, honeyed aroma with subtle grassy and lemon notes.
Kobold is delicious paired with light tasting foods such as salads and sustainably sourced seafood – and it’s a refreshing contrast to spicy foods too.

500ml bottle. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of grains, bready malts. Taste of bready, grainy malts, crisp, clean, grassy hop, light bitterness. light-Medium bodied. Nothing special but it's a decent lager, pretty much as described so no complaints here.

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear gold, small white head, some retention. Aroma of citrus, flora, grainy and light bready malts. Taste is grainy, some honey, floral and spicy, grassy crisp bitterness. Light to medium bodied, slightly dry. Decent hoppy lager.

Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, as per the description a little breadiness. Light lager tang the mid. Goldings presenting as quite floral fruity here, bright with a little soft pine. Finishes airy and tangy with soft touches of candy fruits. Hmm! Quite like this but it's a bit off the beaten track for a lager. Still, tasty and drinkable if not with the lightly bitter hop edge I would normally like in a lager.

500ml bottle; BBE August 2023. Drank at home after watching Grimsby Town win 3-0 at Crewe on 4th February 2023. First new beer I've had from Adnams for years. Clean and clear golden body, short lived white head. Decent enough basic lager, nothing stood out or made it 'different' to hundreds in this style. Refreshing, thirst quenching and I actually enjoyed it!

Bottle from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma has grains and spice. Some dough. Not particularly strong. Clear bright gold. Fluffy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Grains and spice. Sour edge doesn't intrude. Bready dough concludes matters. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy lager. Long dry finish. Good drinking lager.

Thin white head on an unclear pale golden coloured lively body. Minimal faint citrus aroma. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a limp back. Light malt, faint citrus & grain tastes with a tangy finish. Inoffensive but very bland.

Keg @ Sole Bay, Southwold. Golden with a mid carbonation and next to no head. Has a maltiness, but not much, nor does it do much for the brew.
