Warka z datą do 18.05.2022. Barwa ciemna, nalewa się bez piany. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty sosu sojowego oraz delikatnie gorzkiej czekolady. W smaku wyczuwalne nuty czerwonego wina oraz szlachetnego alkoholu. Goryczka na średnim poziomie, nasycenia brak, alkohol minimalnie rozgrzewa przełyk.

Bottle shared at Free Beer tasting. Very dark brown with barely any head. Coffee, salmiak, dry oak, chocolate, soft red wine, vanilla. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied, a bit dry. Quite nice, a bit too old maybe but tasty enough.

18 05 2022 Aromat intensywny: palony, waniliowy, kokosowy, czekoladowy, kawowy, kukułki Piana brązowa, czarne nieprzejrzyste z przebłyskami brązowymi Smak intensywny gorycz czekoladowo palona, słodyczy dużo lekki kwaśny posmak winna Nagazowanie średnie, ciężkie, gumowe, długi czekoladowy finisz, alkohol niewyczuwalny szczypie trochę w dziąsła. Ogólnie wyśmienite w smaku i aromacie, treściwość też w porządku warto kupić i spróbować.

Bottle, 13.0%. Sweet vanilla, marshmallow and port aroma. Black colour. Seems clear. Oily. No head. The flavour is nicely sweet, slightly citric, fat vanilla notes. Late coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. Citric finish with more port and chocolate notes. Good red wine barrel acid.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of barrel and chocolate, with notes of malt and yeast and touches of fruit and vanilla. Sweetish flavour of chocolate and vanilla, with vinous and barrellike notes and touches of roast, yeast and malt. Barrellike and malty aftertaste with fruity touches. Warming alcohol presence. Yummy. I normally prefer brandy or whisky barrel-aged beers to those of red-wine, but this one is good.

Dark wine barrel aged barleywine from what is potentially (and to my personal appreciation) Poland’s top craft brewery, with very classy label. Medium thick, small-bubbled, moussy, opening and dissipating head on a very deep bronze-ish chocolate brown robe with wine red glow. Intense bouquet of hard caramel, brandy, soy sauce, vanilla-breathing wet oak, walnut oil, indeed dry Tempranillo red wine, teriyaki, reduced gravy, solventy effects of shoe polish and varnish but not too strongly so, nutmeg, burnt toast. Dried blueberries and old raisins in the onset, strong beef stock cube- and soy sauce-like umami presence, soft carb, full and oily mouthfeel, somewhat sticky; caramelly, walnutty and brown bread-crusty malts, thick and dryish with a sweeter edge, growing tannic woodiness eventually even becoming astringent. Spicy notes of nutmeg and clove (as in Glühwein almost, but much more subtle) adorn this prominent woodiness, before it plunges in to a warming, if not heating, brandy-like alcohol glow in which spicy hop bitterish notes play. Typical red wine tartness and vinosity, as I expect from a wine barrel aged beer, lag a bit behind here and the umami is a bit too strong for me; dark barleywine indeed, with almost (classic) imperial stout-like features, intense and tannic, but I cannot help expecting a bit more, to be honest.

Pours viscously to headless deep-black beer. Nutty, black if sweetened chocolate, alcohol & fuselsbomb. Palmoil. Sweet, but also bitter chocolate. Vinous, but not really expressly so. Just the finish has that velvety feel a great red Burgundy shows. Raisins (in chocolate), mush as from grapeskins. Fusels in the best and all the way. Pretty good I.S. Thanks to Stef!

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. The oily pour reveals a deep black body, shiny naked surface and scattered lacing. Attractive roasted malty nose, caramel-chocolate. Powerful flavours of grainy chocolate, wood, dark and dried fruits. Smooth vinous impression. Rounded roasted malt-driven end, warming down the swallow. Full bodied slow sipper. (Rating session with djoeye and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 03.02.2021).

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7. Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Læraroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken lakris, sjokolade, og rødvin. Tørr, vinøs avslutning. Veldig bra.

Malziger Beginn, cremig, weich, leicht säuerlich. Salzige Noten, Schokolade, vollmundig, nie alkoholisch. Unterdurchschnittlich karbonisiert, langer, vollmundig malziger Nachhall. Gut! 12/13/12/12//12
