(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with big, frothy, tan head. Hoppy, malty nose with dried pineapple, grapefruit, caramel, bread, dried fruit and orange peel. Hoppy, malty taste with notes of grapefruit, dried pineapple, bread, caramel, fruit cake, resin, orange peel, pine needles and a generous citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Nose is....what??...clear and thick Brettanomyces. I check the bottle for clues, but nope, no indication that this should be a wild IPA. Admittedly the beer is a month past its BB, but still that should not bring Brett into the equation, Anyways, I like the smell of Brett, and in this case it's mixed with slight citrus notes. Medium body, a slight initial sweetness, but it's thick and leathery Brett all over - more Orval than IPA for sure. Not offensive, but clearly massively infected. 240321

330ml bottle, many thanks to djoeye for sharing. Patchy white head over a cloudy dark golden body, spotty lacing. Quite inviting smell of leafy hops and bread. Fine blended taste of leaves, forest, bread-like malts and a resinous touch to a bittersweet tail. Fine depth. Likable. (Rating session with djoeye, lmojoh and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 25.02.2021).
