Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color lambic with a large foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of funky ester with some oak notes and light Xeres notes. Taste is also a mix of funky ester with some Xeres notes and oak/woody notes with some tart notes. Body is about full for style with good carbonation. Nice lambic with a good level of complexity but I would have liked the Xeres notes to be more present.

750 ml bottle, shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Amber, moderate hazy body, with almost no head.
Aroma of horse blanket, wood, moderate sherry, moderate spices, some citrus, some honey, some red apple. Tastes quite similar, with more sweet, vinous notes and more green apple.
Medium, slightly oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, vinous, moderate wooden, moderate funky, with green apple, slight honey.
Tasty. Very smooth and balanced, with a lovely mix of funk, sweet sherry notes and sourish fruits. Not my favorite Zenne, but another beautiful one. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

75cl bottle @ Tilquin admin gathering, merci Pierre. Vertical with Blend # 20, 21, 49 & 50.
