Bottle at tasting. Pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste softly sourish, barnyard, quite refreshing. Solid.

Amazing aroma. Makes me think of girardin but it’s been a long while so I’m probably wrong. Is it Boon? Great dirty and slightly creamy aroma. And that's where the notes ended...

0.375 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', best before January 2042, so apparently bottled in January 2022, almost two years old. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite funky, rather fruity aroma of lemon, gooseberry, some vinegar, oak and some horse blanket. Minimally sweet, quite sour, rather fruity, gently funky taste of lemon, gooseberry, oak, some horse blanket and light vinegar, followed by a long, fairly tart, rather woody-dry finish. Medium body, quite astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Refreshing Geuze, quite clean, not too acidic yet, relatively complex.

Corked and caged 375ml bottle courtesy of beastiefan2k. The pour is a clear golden copper with a one inch white head that fizzles down pretty quickly. The nose is soft, an engaging lemon citrus, hay, funk, and mild tart sour. Really integrated and inviting. The taste is just classic Geuze, beautiful natural tart sour and funk, with the lemon citrus, and closing crisp and clean with additional tartness. The palate is light to medium bodied, fine active carbonation, beautiful mouth feel, just entirely crisp and clean. Woah, fantastic, delicate Geuze. Thank you for this one, Eugene.
