0.33 l bottle, best before October 2016, courtesy of markoijelena, thanks Marko! Slightly hazy, deep red with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, chocolate, dark fruits and nuts. Very sweet, malty taste of caramel, chocolate, dark fruits and some nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little roasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice one!

Bottle @ home. Clear red to red-brown color, average to medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, a bit dusty, lightly raisins. Taste malts, leaves, a hint of nuts and lightly sweet and lightly bitter at the same time. Decent body and carbonation. Hmm not my kind of beer this one.

Dutch Bock from an Amsterdam beer company, bottle from Craftmember shared by Stefan, cheers! Thick and frothy, off-white, stable head, light hazy burgundy robe with bronze hue. Aroma of toffee, cocoa, dried apricot, vanilla, tea, chocolate milk, orange peel, a ’rusty’ hint of onsetting oxidation and ’natural’ iron. Sweetish, mildly estery onset, pineapple, raisin and apricot with vague banana somewhere, softish carbo, sourish accent, supple, slick and somewhat thin malt body, straightforwardly caramelly and a tad nutty, vague and mostly just ’structural’ herbal hop bitterishness far away in the background (as can be expected from a Bock, of course); in all, a fairly simple flavor track, until retronasally the chocolate and vanilla show up and enlighten the whole thing. I would not have cared for this very much without those special ingredients.

Toffee/caramel aroma but a bit weak. Poor tan head, brown chocolate color. Obvious chocolate taste mixed with roasted bitterness.

Dark brown pour, a small tan head that dissipates quite fast. Smells like a dark lager, with caramel and roasted malts together with some generic hops. The taste is unexpectedly good, smooth milk chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, maple syrup. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body and light carbonation. An excellent winter warmer, amazing that I found this at the local supermarket.
