Beyerd Herfstbock is een roodbruin volsmakend bier met een aangename bitterheid. Hartverwarmend op onstuimige herfstdagen, heerlijk in het herfstzonnetje op het terras. Herfstbock is een Nederlandse bierstijl. Zoals de naam al zegt gaat het om een seizoensbier dat in het najaar op de markt komt. De stijl heeft zijn oorsprong in Duitsland, maar heeft zich in Nederland op een eigen manier ontwikkeld.

large bottle. Caramel and pear in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish, dusty, just hints of roasted malt.Jjust a bit thin. Not unpleasant, but not really good.

Hazy brown colour. Bit of metal in the aroma. Caramel and dark malts are present in the aroma and taste. Quite smooth.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091114]

Clear dark amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, figs and caramel. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, toffee and overripe dark fruits. Finished sweet and full.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of bread. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and some bread, leading to a dry finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted and phenolic. Roasted and spiced too. Sweet caramelish and light spiced flavoured. Dry and bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a warm orangey brown with a firm beige head. Some roasted malt in the nose. Medium body, roasted malt and burned caramel with a strange skewed, rustic edge. No real bitterness. 141109
