0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', as 'Export Urstoff', best before July 2025. Almost clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-floral and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some lemon peel and light straw. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral and a little grassy-spicy taste of grains, some straw and light lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry and minimally metallic finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Quite okay, just finishes a bit nasty.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear copper-gold with a fluffy, mostly white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of sun-kissed cereal, biscuits, light bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, more biscuits, pale bread, cereal, pale grains. Enjoyable, easygoing and drinkable.

Amber with a frothy, white head. Grainy, grassy aroma with touches of apricot and caramel. Taste is mildly bitter with a caramel sweetness just underneath. Crisp, refreshing finish. Nice sipping on a warm day.

Als Wildbräu Export Urstoff erworben ... Optisch präsentiert sich dieser Urstoff klar und bernsteinfarben mit ansehnlicher, mittelgrober Perlage. Der weiße, feinporige Schaum hält sich dabei mäßig gut. Im Duft nimmt man kernige, getreidige, brotige und honigartige Malznoten wahr. Dazu gesellt sich eine zarte, feine Würze. Der Antrunk kommt breit, getreidig und brotig malzig, wirkt jedoch etwas estrig. Eine passende Herbe drückt dabei schon gut an, um dieser breiten Malzigkeit Paroli zu bieten. Auch im Mittelteil wirken die süßlichen Malznoten. Aber auch hier kann sich die estrige Note nicht verbergen. Mir persönlich gefällt das leider überhaupt nicht. Trotzdem sehr voll mit einer passenden und ausgewogenen Herbe. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit würde ich bei diesem Export irgendwo im Mittelmaß ansiedeln. Der süßliche, estrige Nachtrunk geht in eine passende Herbe über, welche letztendlich trocken ausklingt. Fazit: Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu estrig, aber aromatisch durchaus im Rahmen.

On tap at GBBF 2023. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Light fresh aroma. Keg only just come on. Helles. Light drinkable. Some cereal. Good carbonation. .yep OK. Pretty good drinkability even though not a lot going o.

Really enjoyable. Malty, nice bit of bitterness, dry finish with a hint of minerality.

Bottle as Wildbrau Export Urstoff, so I assume this is the right place. It pours clear golden - amber with a fluffy dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, sweet doughy white bread, sponge cake, cereal, grain, digestive biscuit and leafy hops. The taste is crispy, dry, clean, snappy, grain, cereal, biscuit, custard creams, bitter - sweet, grassy, leafy, nutty and a nip of spice with a drying finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Drinks well. Snappy and quenching.
