On keg at the Small Bar, Bristol 11/12/2013. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Earthy, slightly spicy, malts, some citrus fruit and a dryish finish. Good.

On tap @ the Caley Sample Rooms. Appearance - dark amber with a red hue. Nice head. Nose - rich and spicy with some orangey notes. Taste - orange, spice and biscuits. Palate - at least medium bodied with a biscuity texture and a long dry finish. Overall - great beer, tasty and balanced.

Keg from Growler Beers. Hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. Average carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of biscuit, nuts, maple syrup, peach and tangerine. Quite sweet with a faint hop bitterness. Flavour of salted caramel almonds and grapefruit. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. An tasty, unusual beer that feels a bit rough around the edges.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear amber with a small, creamy white foam. Some tangy rye, earth and light pine in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some dirt, grains, tabgy rye, burnt toast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty strong bitterness to finish, some grass, toasty rye, dirty earth, some ripe orange. Not bad.

Cask @ Cloisters, Edinburgh 021011
Light brown, thin white head, good lacing.
Aroma of caramel malts, unusual cereal herbal aroma, light grassy hop.
Taste of grassy hop, caramel malts, slight perfume, unusual grain taste, sweet malts.
Palate - light bitter finish, soft carb.
Well made beer, but I didn’t really like the rye in it which gave a beer a funny cereal taste.
