A Medium Bodied Amber Colored Pale Ale. This beer is well balanced between the sweetness imparted by the roasted caramel malt and light bitterness imparted by the traditional English variety of hops. Typical of English Style Ales, it has light carbonation with a pleasant hoppy aroma.

Hazy amber with a medium off white head. Aroma had malt, fruits and hoppy notes. Flavour had malt, fruits and hoppy notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Cloudy amber color; small creamy head. Nice aroma of biscuity malts, caramel and hops. The body is not strong; there is caramel flavor, with a dry feeling, light fruitness from the fermentation, quite good hopping; biscuity traces. Bitter, but s bit empty of emotions in the end.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of byaeger. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet caramel and fruit in the nose. Medium body, sweet caramel and roasted malts with a hoppy edge and a whiff of metal. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish. 100410

Bottled, thanks Cletus! Clear amber, small head. Floral orangey hop aroma. Medium-light bodied with clean, hard crystal malt character. Light resiny bitterness. Fairly simple.

Bottled@The omhper punkrock tasting. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some mild hints of caramel as well. Flavour is fruity, wooden, some caramel malts as well as mild bittery grassy notes in the finish.

Thanks ericandersnavy. Pours rather copper with a foamy off-white head. Mild aromas of caramel and light citrus? hop. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is well balanced caramel and hop, which is more bitter than expected from aroma. Rather astringent. Still think the hop is citrus. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy amber body and an off-white head that goes quickish. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some citrus and subdued British hops, some malts too. Taste is malt strong with a light malt background. Sharpish bubblees and dry mouthfeel.

Music City Brewer’s Fest 2008. Clear light amber with a medium off-white head. Very nice malty citrus aroma. Well balanced flavor, nice dryness towards the finish.

12 oz bottle graciously brought back from Arkansas for me from Dansting. Number 1 notched on label. Pour is clear orange ruby with visible carbonation and a nice two inch head. Nice retention on the head. Aroma of sweet fruit maltiness and some earthy citrus hops. Taste is nice, good combination of the malts and hops mentioned previously. The earthiness hoppiness comes across a bit more dirty in the taste. The after taste has a bit of a metallic plastic thing going on, though everything else was nice. Well made Pale Ale, thanks Dan! Always nice when state ticking leads to a decent beer!

12 oz. bottle from Cornfield, a gift to help me add another state. First whiff carries a bit of porter somehow. Strange things going on in that headspace, I guess. Then it settles to a decent note pale ale. Pours a rich, dark, copper with a touch of haze in my Sam Adams glass, which further raises a spongy, slightly orange pale ale head. Taste shows some nice caramel malts, but somehow the mouthfeel is a little thin. Ale fruitiness mixes well with choice of English hops; a little spicy and earthy with a bit of pine. It’s okay.
