På Lamb & Flag med Steven, fra fat: klar gylden med ok skum. Fin aroma og smak preget av grapefrukt, gress og snille urter. Fin bitterhet og tydelig mersmak.

Old rating from 03-10-15 - Tasted at the Jersey CAMARA beer festival. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head that slowly disperses. Aromas of marmalade & citrus with some pine & caramel also present. Tastes of lemon, peach, grapefruit as well as marmalade, citrus and some sweet honey. Aftertaste is fairly dry with some bitterness from the hops. Overall my favourite of the 7 beers I tried.

Bottle from Waitrose, Solihull. Clear gold with big fluffy white head. Nice citrus aroma with pine, grain and floral notes. Taste of marmalade, pine, leafy bitterness, some softer pillowy malts, hint of caramel, touch of spice. Very tasty. Nice medium body, soft mouthfeel although slightly over carbonated. This is very good and it only cost me £1.60 - sometimes you get lucky.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aroma has citrus, floral and bready notes. Taste has more notes of citrus and floral, a touch more bread and a hint of caramel. Citrus rind bitterness on the hoppy finish. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. A nice summer time thirst quencher. A beer with a lot of bite. Good.

Cask at The Royal Oak, Guildford. Aroma has herbs and hops. Clear copper gold. Foamy frothy white head. Medium bitter. Herbs and quinine. Underlying stone fruit and caramel sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Pleasant if boring old school UK take.
