Near to black, intransparent, decent ivory-coloured head. Nose: dark malts, toast, citrusy hop, light chocolate and earth. Medium body. Taste: dry dark malts, citrusy hop, light esters, purely brewed. Very solid. Tasty.

Bottle from SWAFFF. Pours hazy black with a lasting, thin, frothy, beige head. Aroma of black olive, soy, coffee ground, walnut, fondant, grapefruit peel, fig. Taste is light malty sweet, notes of biscuit, dark fruits, nuts & chocolate over quite a thick grapefruit & orange peel bitterness; accentuated by fondant & umami soy & olive. Dry, toasty, herbal & earthy hoppy finish, lingering coffee, grapefruit peel, dark fruits, some warming coffee liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Elegant & strong, almost Porter-like BIPA.

Bottle, thanks Raul. Pine, booze, sharp. Taste is great, smooth, hint of sharpness, but smoothness dominates. Roast, coffee, loveliness.

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine crispness. The dark malts have a little dark chocolate and a tiny bit of cream. Piney hips with a bit of hop sting alongside. Light finish. Clean but unremarkable CDA.

Clear black beer, solid thick creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: roasted, caramel malts, hoppy notes, dank and fresh sticky hops, chocolate, ginger bread, bit metallic. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet, nice roasted start, bitter hops, quite some alcohol. Aftertaste: more roasted notes, little spicy, some chocolate, bitter, some citrus, quite some ginger bread, hoppy, dry finish.
