Can with the München Ratebeer Group, that I picked up from Hoptimism, Webshop, Loughborough, Leicestershire, Wednesday 1st July 2020 at Dave's. Pours black, toasty, burnt toast, soft mouthfeel, bitterness builds. This is utterly fabulous, I like BIPA's but this is top notch.

Can. Dark, black in fact, very nice light brown head. Dark roast, coffee, citrus, even sour beer notes hit those nose sensors. The flavor is intensely chocolate-malt roasty, with a delightful background / overlaid aromatic of citrus and West Coast pine. Nice bitterness melding in with the aftertaste. Overall it's not a punch of phat flavors that makes this beer great, but the perfect smooth marriage of the various components.

Black. Aroma is moss peat mushrooms and some cocoa. Taste is easy fresh with mushrooms and peat. Quite drinkable. A bit one dimensional. Still interesting.

Can bought from Hoptimism and drunk at home. Very dark brown, bordering on completely black, with a nicelt-sized tan head. Burnt malt, pine needles, molasses in the heady aroma. Taste is sweet for the style with notes of citrus amongst the gritty malt. It finishes more bitter with notes of orange oil and pine resin in the finish. Exquisite.

Can at home, from Hoptimism, 22/05/20. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent khaki cap. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, pine needle, dusty hops, brown sugars. Taste comprises dusty berry fruits, chocolate, pine needle, toffee, brown sugar dusting, blackcurrants. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light dryness in a close cloaked in balanced dusty hop bitterness. Solid CDA work.
