Brewed with great care using only organic malted barley, organic hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish. The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve this lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

Keg at Glasshouse Stores, Soho. It pours clear yellow with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is rather, soft, sweet, white bread, white sugar, toasty grain and rich tea biscuit. The taste is crisp, clean, fluffy, soft, mellow sweetness, doughy, white bread, honey suckle and straw with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and pretty drinkable. Decent enough lagerbier.

From old tasting notes. Pale gold color. Big foamy white head. Slightly dry, malty aroma. Delicious zesty malt flavor with a hint of herbal hops. Dry finish has a lovely hop character. Long dry aftertaste. Well rounded and full bodied. Unique for a lager, but Sam Smith quality prevails again.

Hazed pale golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Malty, some grain, mild fruity and herbal flavor. Nice and easy to drink.

355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy and grainy aroma. Taste is minimally sweet, pale malty, minimally strawy, grassy hoppy overtones, a touch of green apple parings.

Clear golden colour, good two fingers fluffy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma malts, grain, grass. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, hoppy, grassy. Dry hoppy finish, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. A clean and refreshing lager, quite quaffable.

On tap at Top1 Forever restaurant, Royal Victoria Dock, London. Pale golden color, low white head. Aroma and flavour are more malty than hoppy, this is more of a Bavarian Helles than a Pilsener. Moderate diacetyl comes through as the beer warms up a little.

Bottle. Betty’s, York. Clear yellow. Ring of white. Grassy hop. Sweet malt. Taste is sweet, and light, grassy hop bitter. Crisp palate. A bit thin. Finishes more of the same. Vomit burps. Not great.
