500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a small but long lasting creamy head. Aroma: pale malt and some hops, grassy, fruity.Taste: same as the aroma, light bitter citrusy finish. Smooth mouthfeel, light body, texture is a bit watery. A nice brew but not a memorable one.

Cask at the Free Press, Cambridge. Golden and clear with a soapy/filmy white head. Lemon, hay and butterscotch in the aroma, with the forthrightness of papaya in the background. Sweet and first and bitter at the finish... very nice but there’s no escaping a slight soapy bit in the middle. Workaday and not all that impressive.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a small but lacing off-white head. Light aroma with malt and a hint of fruit. Flavor is mild pale malt, some fruit, low bitterness and slightly metallic. Thin body and not much aftertaste. Plain, boring, one-dimensional and already forgotten.
