Tons of green onion here. Some pineapple rind--like the spiky outer part. Murky orange pour with decent head. Super astringent hop tang finish. Not a good beer. Can.

Can on sale in Japan so probably nearing the expiry date... Lone Pine Diamond Unicorn 7.8% This double ipa looks like haze and has some orange juiciness in the aroma but tastes extremely bitter of grapefruit pith and pine. Kind of a meld of haze and old Skool imperial IPA. Ok.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a murky copper orange with a full 2 fingers of foam. Bitter orange zest, pith and light pineapple aromas. Same on the palate. Quite bitter with some light veggie and herbal flavors. Drying finish.

Fruity, tropical, hazy, fantastic. Should've grabbed another can!

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Danvers. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, 1/2-finger width foamy off-white head with fair retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is floral/fruity with notes of grape and melon, bready malt backbone. Taste is initial herbal dominant, slightly bitter with later sweet melon contribution. More grapefruit as it warms. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, average carbonation and mix of herb and sweet fruit finish. Overall, look and feel are right and strong aroma and flavor though somewhat nondescript and not terribly complex. Quite good.

A older take on the New England IPA style. ( Heady Topper-ish )Aroma shows pineapple chunks and various tropical fruits. The flavor has the fruit but also a danky herbal character. Grassy and marijuana hints. Also some floral character. Layers of hop flavors. Bitterness is sturdy and balances the fruit. Quite the IPA! The best I sampled from this brewery.
