Bottled. Very deep rubyish black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild chocolate, some dark fruits, mild liquorice and mild toasted notes. Flavour is quite big on the black chocolate with some mild caramel, toffee and slight fruity and liquorice notes. Not as chocolaty as young double choc stout, but quite similar in many ways.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, beige huge creamy head. Roasted malt and caramel in aroma. Strong malty roasted flavour with also candy coming in strongly. Dark chocolate and toffee also present. Aftertaste is smooth and roasted, and lasts for quite a while.

Bottled. Dark reddish brown with a beige head. Chocolate and mocha dominates the aroma and flavor, and there’s some alcohol as well. Full-bodied with a long chocolate finish. Really lovely. (060929)
