Brixton’s famous street market winds down Atlantic Road, brimming with exotic wares. Bold aromas and flavours compete for passing attention, a bit like our Atlantic A.P.A. A deluge of aroma hops after the boil and generous dry hopping deliver a juicy tropical flavour. Extra Pale malt keeps it crisp and lets the hops rule.

Bottle split on the train to Twickenham, thanks to Rilester, 17/01/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine, bitter citrics, straw, melon, grapefruit. Taste comprises chalky mineral notes, melon, straw, orange pith, light pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough APA.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, quite stable loose White head; pretty distinctive piney nose accompanied by grapefruity traces, a small amount is still detectable, faint traces of vegetables as well; almost solid bitter and still a bit sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering piney and pale-malty finish. Pretty good...
