Brixton’s famous street market winds down Atlantic Road, brimming with exotic wares. Bold aromas and flavours compete for passing attention, a bit like our Atlantic A.P.A. A deluge of aroma hops after the boil and generous dry hopping deliver a juicy tropical flavour. Extra Pale malt keeps it crisp and lets the hops rule.

330ml bottle drink-in at Sourced Market St. Pancras. Hazy golden coloured body. Fair, pearl white head, spotty lacing. Smell of citrus mingled with mid-sweet malts. Lemony hoppy flavours added by dried fruits and mild brown malts. Nice fruit bitterness to the finish, mid-dry. Medium bodied. Nice and refreshing (London 14.07.2014).

Bottle sample at a tasting a at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom C. Cloudy yellow-golden. Lovely fruity hops aroma with a bit of yeast. Dry flavor with lots of "green" and fruity hops and nice refreshing bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Really good and extremely refreshing.

Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras and drunk at home. Hazy amber lasting white head. Earthy grapefruit aroma. Good yellow grapefruit earthy apa. Decent bitterness on the finish. I rather liked it. Go Giants!

Bottle at home in London - picked up from Market Row Wines. Pours lightly misty, pale yellow-gold with a thick, tight and creamy white head that really hangs on. The aroma has a bit of pleasing citrus fruits at first but when you dig a bit deeper you get some hay and plastic. The flavor is lightly sweet with quick citrus, a bit of pale bread, lemon, bitter plastic and grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly astringent to finish with further bitter plastic, a bit of juicy lemon and tangerine. The plastic notes - could be due to chlorophenols, I suppose - do detract from the beer, which is a shame because otherwise this would be a very pleasant APA.
