Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, cocoa, creamy lactose, powdery chocolate, some roast, touch of dark fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nicely creamy and smooth, a very fine Milk Stout!

Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 24th January 2025. Almost impenetrably black with tan ring-and-film depositing spot lacing. Lush, rich roasty aroma. Chunky flavours in-mouth - rich and broad roasty kick and smoky transient. A satisfying finish of bitter chocolate, cherry fruits and smokiness. Bitterness developing late. Medium bodied with a smooth yet engaging texture. Very enjoyable.

Long day..... and this was next in the fridge. Pretty good you know! Great in the glass, on the nose and in the mouth. Enjoyed, but not one to seek out again.
