Leicht fruchtige Noten und ein Hauch von grünem Apfel begegnen sich in der Nase. Seine wirkliche Seite zeigt unser Klassiker dann doch im Geschmack: Weicher vollmundiger Malzkörper, der durch eine leichte angenehme fränkische Hopfenbittere ausprägt, wird. Verbraut wurden feinste Sommergerste aus dem fränkischen Jura und 3 weitere leckere Malzsorten von der Bamberger Mälzerei. Dazu 2 typisch fränkische Hopfensorten aus dem Anbaugebiet rund um Spalt bei Nürnberg.
Wir pflegen diese traditionellen Säulen altüberlieferter Bierkultur, die Aufwand bedeuten. Das erlangt aber erst die Qualität das unser Kellerbier zu dem macht; was wir stolz den Sonnenbräu Klassiker nennen!

On draft at HopDog while waiting for a dog. Barely hazy amber, nice fine head, malty nose. Light caramel flavors meeting fresh malt, smooth bitterness, just a killer traditional beer. Drinking it after a Griess Kellerbier just showcases how different these two excellent examples of the Keller style can be!

Tap at HopDog. Murky amber. Late summer, hay, grainy, stonefruit. Creamy, smooth, soft, with a nice buttery, slightly bitter finish. I like it.

0.5l tap. Unclear amber with a creamy head. Coriander, lemon peel, caramel, vanilla, sourdough, breadcrumbs, basement notes. Mild dry bitterness, malty grainy bready sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild dry grainy finish. Excellent!

On tap at Hopdog, München, Friday 11th June 2021 in the company of Jonas and Ursula. It's lovely sat outside on a warm June day. This pours amber, white head. Pleasant easy drinking, caramel foremost among flavours, malty, simple beer. Good but not my favourite of the evening.

Bottle, 1 l, shared with Miro B, Max and Zubo. Orange with short lasting white head. Malty, bit grainy, some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Tap only beer, the brewer filled my litre swing top bottle for € 1,-. Malty, buttery aroma with boiled milk. Malty, buttery, hoppy flavor. No carbon. Long hopbitter and milky aftertaste. Nice one!
