Oct. 2016: Keg half pint, as Purity Longhorn IPA Unfiltered, at The Fellow, King’s Cross. Deep golden colour, white head, nice lacing. Moderate but nice hoppy aroma. Distinctly hoppy flavour, not too sweet, well balanced, very drinkable.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Pours a clear golden/amber colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas and a hint of caramel. Taste has the same notes as the aroma, more citrus and tropical fruits, a bit more caramel and a fair amount of peppery spice. A touch of sweetness but nicely balanced with the hops. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Decent beer.
