A full-bodied, hoppy Red Ale brewed with rye malt. Peppery notes with a hint of spice held up by a big, bold, malty backbone. It’s complex, flavourful and interesting.

But, it’s not all about the malt with Hook Island Red. Kilos of West Coast hops – Chinook, Columbus and Simcoe – add flavours of resinous pine with a hint of passionfruit.

[February 2023] Mahogany brown, with a tinge of red and a frothy off-white head. Soft malty aroma with hints of (piney) hops. Light to medium bodied, it's hoppy and malty with a fruity twang

Mørk amber. Lavt skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Lett karamellaroma. Mykmunnfølelse. Smaken karamell, svisker & tørket frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning. Av de bedre.

Historical tick. Cask at Pint Shop, Cambridge. I also know that I had a chipotle beer but no idea what that was.

Could be a fantastic beer, but it’s oxidized and astringently bitter. But it has a cream great body if you get by the staleness. Port house Manchester

Pours a hazy reddish amber colour with a small beige head. A sweet malty caramel aroma with a touch of pine and citrus. A moderately sweet to sweet taste, toffee and sweet marmalade flavours. A pine and citrusy bitter hop finish make this a very pleasant beer.

Gravity at Beer Rebellion. Red amber colour, not much head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, red and bit stinky, bit fruity. Taste is similar, lightly fruity. Cherry, strawberry little bit. Ok
