Together with the people from Frontaal we've brewed this amazingly smooth beer that you're going to want to try!
This brew contained a triple mash, one of which was a cold steep with all the dark malts to get a super smooth roasty coffee profile. The beer was then dry-hopped with the new experimental hops from Yakima, HBC472, which gives an oaky and earthy notes to the beer.
The beer itself is super smooth, fruity, coffee and lightbodied for an excellent summer evening vibe.

Can at home, from an online peddler, 03/02/21. Pitch black with a big ole dirty tan head that stays for the show. Nose is ashen tones, charr, dark malts, dusty hops, light spice, dried fruits, cacao nibs. Taste comprises rich roast, coffee, burnt toffee, spice, charr, dark chocolate, dried fruit esters. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a kiss of alcohol. Decent roasty bitter impy ... nice change from the pastry way ... doesn't feel like an 11% machine. Definitely a bit of a CDA crossover here with the hoppy bite.

Geen dikke saaie appelstroop, maar juist fris en prima bitter. Meer van dit soort stouts graag weer!

44cl Blik van The Scrapyard. Zwarte kleur, beige-bruine kraag. Bladgroen, blaadjes, gras, gebrande mout, cacao, koffie, de hop clasht volledig met het bier naar mijn smaak, ik vind het niet aangenaam. En ik hou van hoppige stouts. Dit is em niet.

THT online/At Maakun’s. Black with tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, coffee, hoppy notes, citrusy, resiny, grassy and herbal. Big sweet and bitter. Sandy and muddy feel. Soft carbonation.
