0.5l bottle from REWE Farnhammer Tittling, as Hofmark Bayrisch Hell, 4.9%. Pale clear golden body, nearly no head, but it might be the glass. Lean, dry. minerally, bit malty aroma, vaguely floral. Lean, soft taste, bit minerally, vaguely citric, maybe trace DMS in the finish, otherwise decent - dry and prickly for a helles really. Can't say I'm a huge fan.

From bottle. Malt, wort, sourdough, floral grassy hops. Dry bitterness, slightly sour and grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy bready sourdough finish. Okay Helles, a bit dull overall.

0,5 l bottle as Bayrisch Hell from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Golden and a little bit cloudy with an one finger whiote head in the glass. Grainy caramel on the nose, some fresh floral hop. Taste has also caramel with sweet floral hop and citrus. Mid carbonated. Nice and easy drinking stuff.

Optisch wunderbar. Mein Fazit: Ein wirklich gutes typisch bayerisches Helles!

€-Flascherl (...without original, 4.8%): Pale golden to golden,, clear, small and stable white foamy layer, visible - but lazy - carbonation, mild grainy-dusty nose with worty and herbal spots; nearly moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, not too light bodied, but not overly soft; shorter sweet-bitter grainy finish. No glory, nevertheless not undrinkable...

Bottle picked up from Bernhard Nieder Getränke, Attenkirchen and consumed at home Attenkirchen Thursday 2nd January 2020 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music and cooking Conchiglie with Yoghurt, Peas and Chilli. Pours gold, excited clarity with a white head atop. Clean with a simple fruitiness. There is a very soft mouthfeel, okay it's a little too sweet but it is still somewhat refreshing, hop and bitterness a little subtle but this beer is not without it's charms.
