This beer is the stickiest of the icky. It's a luxuriously hoppy IPA loaded up with intemperate quantities of Nelson, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, which are some of the fruitiest, dankest hops sweet, sweet money can buy. Its pleasingly dry character and lightly bready malt backbone form a magnificent platform for its huge, complex hop profile. Prepare to have your flavor ports stormed by an armada of interdimensional taste lords.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a fizzy honey-amber color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was musty, off, a touch herbal and had a definite cat pee element. The flavor was musty and off with bread, leather and cat pee. Long finish. Medium body. Pretty disgusting.

16 ounce can. Hazy amber orange color. Large rocky beige head. Bready malt nose hints at citrusy hops. First sip brings notes of toasted bread and pine hops. Bitter, dank citrus hops in middle, reminiscent of grapefruit peel. Lots of complex hop flavor throughout. Spicy, dry finish. Very well made and bordering on The IPA style.

Hazy amber, kind of dull, but there’s a decent head on it.  Has a strong overripe fruit nose... it’s Nelson hop, which if you’re combining American Nelson with a bunch of crystal malt I can sort of see. On the palate, though, this reveals itself to be diacetyl. Moderate bitterness and some crystal chewiness but you know it’s hard to look past diacetyl.  Just surprised it’s coming from a Modern Times beer...neither this brewery nor this establishment have served me rancid butter before so I am genuinely confused.

Dark, dark and hoppy. Yup the description matches very well. Some succulent deep tropical notes on top of dankness in the nose. Medium body, tons of dank and brimmed with hops but not overly bitter. Rounded and succulent. Yummy stuff and top notch amber.

Pounder can from HomeBrewStuff. Murky amber with lasting fluffy head. Earthy, dusty aroma. Taste is dry malts, lightly toasted. Very subtle. Very well crafted, lots of little pieces add up to a big whole. Hard to describe, but worth a visit
