355ml can from Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky reddish brown colour with a thin broken white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, toffee caramel. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, metallic, resin, light toffee, big woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Deep amber color with a decent tan head. Some lace. Aroma is a sweet, caramel, dried fruit smell. Taste is a toasty almost burnt sugar taste with hints of mild hops. Good stuff.

On tap. Strong malt presence in the nose; smells like fresh baked bread. Pours deep brown with nice lacing. Tastes of toasted malt, biscuits, alcohol. Bitter on the back of the tongue. Full-bodied.

12 oz. bottle from Orem, Utah State liquor store. Pours a crystal clear dark mahogany color with a tight tan head and excellent retention. Great lacing. Aroma of brown sugar and herbal hops. The flavor doesn't really match the nose. More of a light bourbon and burnt sugar/molasses flavor with a hoppy finish. No cocoa flavor. Both the 6.7% ABV and the 65 IBU are well hidden. Surprisingly mellow. Not my favorite flavor profile but it's okay as a winter warmer.

Pours amber-orange with an off-white head. It smells of caramel malt and a little dark fruit. The flavor is sweet and caramelly with molasses and a hint of dark fruit. Medium bodied. Good.
