Third, tap, listed with 8.9 % abv, beer flight at Martin Bros Micropizzeria. Lasting fawn-coloured head blanketing the glass, black body. Appealing aromas of roasted dark bread, scent of chocolate malts. Malt-driven flavours of liquorice, bread, chocolate, and lactose beneath. Rounded, roasted grainy chocolate to a long-lived finish, does not taste that sweet. Well bodied. Like it. (Leicester 12.07.2022).

Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 09/04/22. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is coffee bean, roast malts, charr, spice, dark chocolate, maple syrup. Taste comprises coffee, chocolate, dark malts, spice, charr, dried fruits, maple syrup glaze, brown sugar melt. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of booze. Decent impy ... sips easy for 9.6% ... good balance and never gets overly sweet.

Pours a thick, dark brown-black, with minimal head. Aroma is strong coffee, with some maple. Flavor is coffee (almost a burnt coffee taste), chocolate, maple syrup. Fairly sweet. ABV is well-hidden in flavor and aroma. There might just be too much coffee in this one...
