God’s own blonde. The traditional golden ale has had a makeover. Easy-drinking, good-looking and a beer for everyone. Hints of citrus complement the soft biscuit, with a moreish finish. Cask version is 3.9% abv.

Christmas present from my stepson, drank at home. Normally I would avoid beers from t'other side o' t'Pennines but this was as described on the bottle "Session Blonde" and I could imagine quaffing a few quite easily.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeast and malt. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malty, yeast, herbal, light floral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Punchbowl (JDW) in York, February 2020. A sweetish pale ale, with a touch of leafy hop, digestive malts and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Gravicask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Bright amber-gold body, fading white head, dotted spots on the glass. Malt-fruity flavoured. Blended taste profile of biscuit and fruity hops. Ends with a zesty bitter touch. Quite nice, easy to drink. (07.02.2019).
