Draught at Ale Mary's, 12/22/23. Dark, tan bubbles on edge. Dark chocolate, very faint bourbon but not sugary or boozey. Pretty timid. Soft, richly malted, lots of strong, spicy bourbon. Heavy chocolate/cacao character and good acidity and attenuation. Medium-full body with no real syrup or chew to it, but still far from too light/thin. Bourbons a bit heavy/powerful. Just intense pepper, neatly sharp. At least it's dries the finish but there's more intense pepper lingering.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a quickly dissipating finger of brown head. Loads of dark chocolate and cacao nib on the nose with some bourbon as it warms up. Oak and more chocolate on the palate with the salt coming in on the finish. Dry and warming finish with a lingering dark chocolate salt note.
