This Double IPA pairs new season Citra and Sabro hops for a full-on tropical trip. Sabro Cryo hops impart bold aromas of coconut, bubble-gum and subtle mint while Citra adds depth with bright flavours of mango, tangerine and lime. The result is a soft and hazy DIPA with intensely juicy flavours and a full, creamy body.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from All Good Beer HD. Pours lightly hazy honey-gold with a modest, frothy white head. Reasonably sweet, with decent bready malt backbone, some honeysuckle, peach and pear, ripe tangerine, white grape, soft rindy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with average carbonation. Slightly warming in the finish, more pale bread, ripening citrus fruits, low bitterness, nips of booze, more white grape and pear. Quite tasty overall. Pretty punchy.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, a light creamy sweetness. Crisp pine. Ripe orange and mango. Some very light Sabro goodness on the light and semi dry finish. Decent but, really, come on, are you honestly satisfied that this is even close to what a double IPA should be like with these 2 stellar hops?

Can from RAD Beer. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of coconut and pineapple. Flavour of pina colada and lemongrass. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. This is superb - the hop combination works well.
