Bottle from Systembolaget. Nice stout like apperance in the glass. Some interesting flavours that give it quite the depth for the abv. I prefer my milds even more watery to be honest, this one, the burnt wintery notes were a litle too proncouned. Drank alongside julmust, probably problematic.

Gott

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown, almost black. Roasted malt, ashtray, blackcurrant and coffee in the aroma. Roasted and slightly smoky and burnt taste with notes of coffee, blackcurrant and vanilla detected. The burnt notes are a bit too prominent for my liking and that slightly detracts from what is a decent beer.

Almost black, almost opague. Blackcurrant, chocolate and raisin in the aroma. Sweetish, thinnish, chocolate, licorice and seaweed. Blackcurrant aftertaste. Very nice!

Bottle at home split with Sarah. Caramel brown coloured pour with a lasting tidy light tan head. Aroma is nutty toasted grains, berry, jam on toast, sweet dried fruits. Slight musty roast on the nose. Flavour is composed of earthy toasted grains, with a little dried chocolate powder, airy, dried fruits, raisin, slight tangy in the finish. Palate is medium light, airy carbonation, slightly thin, bit powdery on the the tongue.

Dark brown, almost black, small but lasting tan head. Aroma is very nice, milk chocolate, brown sugar and coffee. Taste sweet milk chocolate and caramel in start that carries it to a more roasted dry finish. Also some low roasted acidity is present. light to medium bodied.

Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is malt, dark chocolate, light fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a rich malt, dry coffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
