Bottle. Clear yellow/gold with a solid white head. Aroma and taste of grains, malts, straw and earthy hops. Distinct grainy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Pretty much what I expected. I was glad though to have a couple of these at the secret lake while watching geese and fighting off wasps.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Weak, grainy, strawy, pale malty aroma, almost undetectable, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is rather crisp, bitter hoppy, slightly grainy, minimally bready, pale malty, a touch of caraway spiced grey bread; lingering, almost a bit pungent, bitter hoppy finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation. Surprisingly crisp and bitter, appealing appearance - OK.

Only a hint of grass in the aroma. Neutral fruity taste (pear, apricot) Hardly any hopbitterness, but refreshing.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hayish, nice malt grainy and medium malt bitter. Decent quite smooth body and texture, suitable moderate carbonation. Quite nice.

Gezapft in einer emsländischen Kneipe. Gelb-klar. Aroma hopfig. Geschmack leicht süßlich, ansonsten mild, kurzer Abgang

Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Hellgelb, klar, reichlich lockerer Schaum.

0,5 l bottle. Good looking bottle art design. Clear golden in the glass, nice CO2 lively, midlasting fine white head. Grassy herb on the nose. Starts with a sourish hop herb. Flat middle part, metallic aftertaste. Average. (13. April 2012)
