Een blond bier, maar dan volgens ons recept. Met boekweit dus. Mild bitter met een zacht hoparoma. De boekweit geeft het bier een frisse kruidigheid.

33cl bottle from Slijter from Pernis. Thick white head. Hazy blond pour. A nice enough blond. Well balanced but not very exciting.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, slightly yeast, slightly herbs or spices. Lightly bitter finish, average body and carbonation. Ok beer, but it doesnβt distinguish itself from tons of other Belgian Blond Ales.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and yeast, leading to a dry finish.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of grain, sulphur, hay, lemon. Flavour is quite sweet, lemon, malty, hay, bit of yeast, light lemon bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. Nice, would be really good with less sweetness.
