Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting. 2023-03-02. Many thanks to Wingman. A n oily jet black brown coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, sticky brown , woody roast, cakey malts, toffee malts, alchol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, peanut butter, hazelnut, cakey, dark chocoalte, chocolate fudge cake.. Palate si semi sweet, oily, mellow carbonation.

330ml from Craft Metropolis. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, fizzy dark tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, molasses, coconut. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, moderately oily, roasty, chocolate, coconut, liqourice, light maple syrup, warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Rich aromas of dark chocolate, coconut toffee, maple, creamy coffee, raisin, caramel. Flavours of coconut toffee, maple, caramel, cappuccino, profiteroles. Rich,sweet boozy finish. Lovely!

Aus der Flasche (bbe 01.06.2027) im 2022-11 getrunken. Dieses schwarze Stout mit dunkelbraune Schaumkrone ist wieder so ein cremiges Schokoladenmonster und einer fast schon öligen Konsitenz. Von Kokos ist zwar nicht wirklich was zu entdecken, aber dennoch ist es ein wunderbares Stout.

Bottle from Hoptimism. And one of the best beers I have ever had. I had high hopes and wasn’t disappointed. Black colour with a tan head. Arms and taste are roasted bitter malty. Slight chocolate. Hints of berry. Then night caramel and maple light sweet. Well balanced and so smooth. Love it.
