18/7/2024. Draft at Radio City Social, Chelmsford. Pours black with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Good pour. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, ash, toffee, tar, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, smooth and slick, average carbonation. Good finisher.

On tap at Tap Station. A black one with a small beige head. Roasted malts, alcohol, some prunes and charcoal in the aroma. It's full bodied and warming, with a nice carbonation. Some bitterness to deal with the little sweetness present. Roasted malts, coffee, burnt hints and alcohol in the flavor, with a lasting finish. Quite pleasant this one. 240622

Draught@SBWF2023. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, roast, some chocolate and mild ashy tones with some slight burnt wet wooden tones too. Flavour is pretty much following that same pattern. Nice old school Imp Stout.

Opaque black colour lots of roastiness, chocolate cake and a touch of vanila and nuts, quite sweet but not too heavy with a burned whiff. Nice and enjoyable.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 29 Sep 2022) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black bread, liquorice, coffee, chocolate and a touch of blueberries. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, blueberries, liquorice and a generous roasty bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich and tasty imperial stout. Very nice.

33cl can. A black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and liquorice. Taste of sweet strong dark roasted malt, coffee, liquorice.

Tap at HopDog. Black, brown cream. Choco and licorice nose. Medium to full chewy dry body. Eiskonfekt, milk, dark chocolate, broad, pleasant to drink. Good!
