Old rating from 03-04-15 - 500ml bottle from the brewery on my Wales road trip. Poured at home in Jersey, it's brown with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, pine, cinnamon, earth, bread, wood & resin. Medium body. Dry & long medium bitter finish. Very enjoyable

On tap at the Southampton Arms. Looks very orange with a small head which lasts the whole way down. Feel like I could taste the alcohol. Taste is quite citrussy, particularly orange with a bit of sherbet in there too. Nice pint. --- Beer merged from original tick of mOtley Brew on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. A very nice and very strong IPA; possibly a double. A taste of hops and also of wood, the latter being most pleasant and really adding to the flavour. All in all a very nice beer and would happily drink it again, but not sure you would be able to drink 2 in a row.

(Bottle) Clear deep amber with slight white head. Excellent hoppy aroma - pine citrus with some candy notes. Medium body with excellent carbonation. Some dark toffee sweetness at the start, with pine notes appearing and developing into a good hoppy bitter finish. Nice DIPA.

Bottle from Saucy Pears. Appearance - beautiful amber with an attractive fluffy head. Nose - orange and hinting of pineapple. Slight funky edge, very yeasty. Taste - orangey yoghurt. Then it finishes with a tangy orange note. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid but not sure there should be this much yeast influence.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a murky medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is citrus fruit, grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a gorgeous smooth woody ligjht resin nettle hop palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lots going on here with plenty of flavours.

500ml bottle. Deep orange-brown amber colour, foamy off-white head and aroma of caramel, orange marmalade, spice. Taste is sweetish, malt caramel, tangy with fruity grapefruit and woody pine hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, warming boozy, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable DIPA.
