RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. 2000 vintage, ABV for this vintage was 8.1%. Hazy brown colour, low head. Surprisingly pale for a doppelbock. Sweetish bakery aroma, some alcohol. Flavour is cloying malty sweet and one-dimensional. Disappointing. Drank it too warm though.

0,33 litre Bottle, served at The restaurant at Tanum Gästgifveri. Dark brown with beige head. Malts, hops, yeast, coffee, Chocolate, some Hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. Gusher. Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma of dark caramel, almost treacle. There's a bittersweet taste to it. Dark malts. Bready. Goes in the direction of Celebrator but lacks some body, depth and is just a bit too sweet.

Bottle.Dark brown colour with small head.Aroma of caramel and rye also a nutty taste but also a odd after taste of vegetable mild finish by style.
