33cl bottle from SB. BBE 01/16. Near black, thick light brown head, lasting. Dark bread, syrup, molasses in aroma. Really strong notes of ryebread, lovely. Flavor has rye, molasses, soy sauce, hint of chocolate. Mämmi comes to mind. Quite thin body for this ABV, hides alcohol completely. Excellent brew, really enjoyable.

Bottle at the DTE tasting, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a round off white head. The aroma is malt light apple I believe. The flavour is medium sour, light bitter with a veggie resin palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ DTE tasting shared by dEnk. Thanks? Dark brown color with a red glare coming through, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, leaves, slightly weird and a touch of liquor. Weird, a doppelbock?

Flaske 0,33l spandert av Rune og delt under ratesammenkomst hos ham 29 Mai 13. Dyp rødbrun. OK litt farget skum. Søt fruktaroma. Smaken er søt malt med at svakt røstet preg. Kjedelig. KI=0.

Mein Bier ist der Lunator 08. Aus meinem neu erworbenen schwedischen Brauereiführer entnehme ich, dass das Bier zum ersten Mal 1999 gebraut worden ist. Der Geruch ist schön süßlich-mild. Im Antrunk ist es sehr mild-süffig. Der Geschmack breitet sich im Hauptteil schnell im Mund aus - es wird süßlich-malzig, dabei leicht alkoholisch. Aber immer noch mild-cremig. Auf der Zunge bleibt ein etwas schwächeres Aroma als im Hauptteil, aber es entfalten sich leichte Röstmalzaromen. Dazu eine leicht malzige Süße. Ein Bisschen erdig.
--> Interessanter Doppelbock, der aber einen ganz leicht wässrigen Eindruck hinterlässt. Test vom 2.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,10,12,12,11 - 11,15

7.9% about 40 SEK. A very dark brown, almost black with a thin head that quickly disappeared. Rich malty sweet aroma. A slightly boozy malty beer, some bitterness in the finish. Not terribly complex. It’s a fairly good dopplebock I think but not all that special.

Reddish brown color with small white head. Kind of sweet aroma with roasted malt with some brown sugar. Somewhat sweet, malty taste with dried fruit, caramel and some herbal notes.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with a small white head. Aroma of plums, dried fruit, malt. Flavour is heavy with dried plums, dried dark fruits with some sugar and malt thrown in.

330ml bottle shared with Finn, from Systembolaget Luleå via Gaute. Off-white head with fine retention. Dark amber with a ruby shade. Grainy and dried fruity nose. Dried fruity taste joined by caramel malts and herbal hops. Smooth malty ending with a little touch of bitterness. Medium bodied. Just alright to drink, middle of the road (Tromsø 29.05.2013).
