A big and very malty dipa. Boat loads of Sweet caramel and a bready malts. Lots of toasted sweet malts, and subtle nuts. Huge sticky resinous pine hop presence, and pretty much zero citrus. Oily mouth feel, regular carb. The finish is medium to high on bitterness and a slightly soapy, pine resin finish with some boozy bready malts.

Aroma of malts, orange, grapefruit, caramel. Flavour is malty and hoppy, strong caramel notes, some light sweetness. Simply a great example of the DIPA style.

Bottle from de dolle waiter. Orange dark brown color. Malt, grapefruit, pepper and a hint of caramel in the aroma. Full bodied. Initial malt, immediately followed by a firm herbal grapefruity and oily hopbitterness. Firm oily hopbitter aftertaste with some plastic and red berries. Good!

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 12.03.18. Translucent dark golden. Diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt, ripe tropical fruits and sweet tropical fruits. Similar taste, with sweetness of papaya and mango. Good! Soft mouthfeel.

Backlog rating from RBESG 2008, grand tasting: Huge hop resin aroma. Hazy orange, creamy golden brown head. Extremely oily hoppiness, light malt, balance is off. Oily, grassy, pine/lemon aftertaste.

Bottle. Color: In between amber and opper. Thin light brown head. Taste: Full bodied floral hops, bitter with hints of caramel and red fruit. Some hints of medium sweetness at the long lasting bittery finish. Warming mouthfeel. Very good beer, I really would like to drink this one again once in a while.
