Bottle from tesco. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is grainy, grass, mild sweetness, earth and straw. The taste is grainy, dull bitterness, grass, florals, some sweetness and earth with a dry finish. Light-medium body and average carbonation. Fuggles IPA? No thanks. Really basic stuff.

33cl bottle from Bargain beers. Thick creamy white head. Hazy golden amber pour. Slight bitterness. Too close to the best before date I think, October 14. Not a great IPA, more of a bitter.

Bottle courtesy of Button. Who pays about a quid for it. And honestly, he’s paying over the odds...

Bottle at home from Tesco. Shitty twist of cap/ Aroma is skunky veg hops, mineral caramel malt. Golden orange clear pour with a creamy off white head that lasts. Flavour is minerally, metalic, vegetative hops and stale caramel malt. Palate is aggresive highly carbonation, thin. Just terrible.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, faint orange and rusty nails. Flavour of metal, lemon, earth and grain. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. Dull and not hoppy enough to be a true IPA.

Bottle from Morrisons, Hatch End. Poured a dark golden colour with a light haze and a tight white head. Aroma of citrus hop, boiled sweets and lemon zest. Caramel and gingerbread on the initial flavour with some hay. Finish was cake, dried fruit and brown sugar. Quite sweet for the style, but that may be expected for the hop type.
