Tasted in August 2011. Aroma: Hoppy nose with a bit of smoke. Appearance: Slightly hazy blond with creamy and long lasting head. Taste: Attack is full hop and bitterness. All cereal with strong bitterness. A real IPA

Clouded pale amber in colour with a large frothy head that makes it look like a wehat beer. Its very malty nose is superceded by a hoppy flavour.

Bouteille 355ml.

Clear gold amber beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Creamy malt - too much so and a little raw as well, There is a little fresh orange hop in the finish to provide some relief. Over dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange hue. Average head and lacing. Aroma is biscuit like maltiness and diacetyl. Taste is somewhat sweet with the malt, mild earthy, grassy hops, and diacetyl. Light body and carbonaton with a dry bitter finish. Not exactly what I was expecting, but this is an English IPA afterall.

From a bottle shared at home. Pours a cloudy pale copper with a white head. Earthy aroma. Slightly sour taste -- maybe off? Not too nice.

Smells like acidic malt. Pours orange with foam, no lacing. A little astringency and pretty sour, almost no trace of proper bitterness. High carbonation. Bottle.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Rotem’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Clear deep golden. Aroma of grainy malt and diaceyl. Sweetish flavor with malt, diacetyl and mild earthy hops bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Purchased at the SAQ beside the Casino in Hull, Quebec. Pours a slightly hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy cap that stays a while and leaves great tiny lace all around. Aromas of caramel malts over the hop and something that is less appealing (but can’t put my finger on what it is). Not much taste to this one. Hints of cereal and hard to find the hop. Mildly dry and not much else than easy drinking. An easy-going IPA for those who do not like too much hop, but want something slightly better than commercial ones.
