Can. Brown pour, weird since the normal export porter is black. Aroma of sweet raisin, caramel fudge, chocolate, ripe cherry, dates, figs and a little green apple. Taste has sweet raisin, green apple, caramel fudge, dates, figs, bitter molasses, malt and still hopbitters. Not bad, but Kees' signature green apple flavor doesn't work very well here.

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', canned in August 2020 (first time I see a canning/bottling date on Kees' beer, thumbs up!). Very dark reddish brown to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of praline, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and a touch of green apple. Rather sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of praline, hazelnut, coffee, light licorice, some vanilla and a touch of green apple, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, a bit boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Kees' trademark green apples are back but, fortunately, just in a very moderate way. The base beer is strong enough to stand against it so that it's still quite pleasant but it's not really a winner.
