A typical German dunkel, pours a cola color with thin but airy head. Roast grain flavor is evident but not overpowering. Palate is thin and watery, but there is a pleasant bitterness lingering. This one is righ tin the middle of the pack....

Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, fluffy, but persistent off-white head, no lace; fruity-malty nose with a faint tinge of roasted malt; quite light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied as well; shorter delicate dryish bitter-malty finish. Not bad, but rather bland.................

(bottle, 4.9%abv on the front label, 5.1%abv on the back label) Clear, dark brown colour and a big, light-beige foamy head. Dusty, sweet and slightly roasty malt aroma with notes of candied fruits. Roasty, slightly ashy and nutty taste, sweet-bitter flavour, slim bodied with a moderate carbonation; slim and slightly toasted finish with a low level of hoppy bitterness. Bland Dunkel (09.06.08).

Bottled. A hazy red-orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with some notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with a slight notes of acidity - probably brewing cereal.
