On tap at the brewery. Clear dark mahogany with a small khaki head leaving tight lace. Nose is coffee and dark chocolate with a bit of smoke. Medium coffee bitterness. Mouth is medium- with slightly soft carbonation and a crisp finish. 8-/4/7/3/14

Bottle. Dark brown, as the name implies, with a thick head. The aroma has a bit of dark malt - a touch of toffee, a hint of dark fruit. On the palate, it's toasty and chocolatey. Fairly smooth body, and that brings across more burnt/coffee notes in the finish. It's a solid dark lager.

Has a muddy brown body with very nice foam, there's a nice chocolate milk vibe on the nose. Flavour is bright barley with heavy cocoa notes. Mouthfeel is full and crisp. This is nice, good chocolatey character to it.
