Bottle at the Lord Northbrook, Lee. Amber pour with an off-white head. Citrus and pineapple aroma. Fresh fruit burst in the flavour, lots of sherbet lemon in there. Quite a zesty number. Dry, bitter finish. Quite nice.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is resin hop light toffee caramel. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a watery light hop, pretty nondescript palate. I’m not sure what "hospital records" were used in the brewing of this beer but I’m willing to take a guess! I always wondered what the doc did with all those specimen bottles I gave him over the years. Now I know! Not good. Not good at all. Nice label though.

Bottle at home from sourced market. Hazed orange / light copper colour with a dense greyish white head. Aroma is biscuit pils with a light caramel malt notes. Lager esters and some chalk. Flavour is somewhat sweet, toasted bread malt, light staling, hints of grassy nobel hop. Some cider notes and esters. Not half bad. Full light body with spritzy carbonation.. Slightly worty sweet in the finish.

Drink-in at Sourced Market St Pancras, 330ml bottle. Clear amber coloured body. Off-white head with a solid stand. Sparse lacing. The moderate aroma is made up by semi-sweet, pale malts. Mild caramel flavour together with some ripe fruits. Short-lived malt-fruity end. Standard and okay to drink (London 03.07.2013).
