Bottle at Karavella. Black pour, beige head. Nose is malátatörköly, some coffee, earthy notes, a mineral touch. Tastewise it's surprisingly empty, there's some dry earthy and roasted notes, low sweet booze but that's it really. Short finish, light body, soft carbonation. Bit of a letdown tbh.

330mL bottle at Legfelsőbb Beer�s�g, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, with a little cocoa and some espresso. Flavour is medium-bodied for the style, with toasted malt, some mineraly notes, and a touch of vanilla. Not a complex impie - it's pretty light and lacking robustness. It's okay.

Das ungarische Biest ist ein russian imperial Stout mit komplett schwarzer Farbe. Mit 12% Alkohol (nicht Stammwürze!) ist es sicher kein Leichtgewicht, aber ich habe es mir aggressiver vorgerstellt -auch schon wegen des Namens. Es ist ein super ausbalanciertes, röstmalzbetontes Stout, dem man seinen Alkoholgehalt nicht gleich anmerkt. Es rinnt gemütlich die Kehle hinunter und vermag auch noch zu erfrischen.

Közepes, de tartós barna hab. Gyakorlatilag fekete. Illata erős pörkölt malátás, savanykás. Savanykás, pörkölt malátás íz, semmi komló. Igazából elég vacak íze van. Semmi összhang, és nem nagyon hasonlít egy sörre. Utóíze ugyanaz. Testes sör. Sajna ment a csapba.

Bottle. Aroma mostly roasted, woody notes. Light cascadian hop character. Very dark colour, stable brown head. Taste is sour up front, thin bodied, not exactly what you expect. Finishes astringent. Not in good condition.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Hopfanatic Angry Beast ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, roasted, wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, alcohol, wood, roasted, prunes, licorice notes. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is llight alcoholic. [20140517]

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, alcohol, licorice, coffee, chocolate. Flavour is alcohol, licorice, coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, hop , caramel . Full body. Nice beer.

Bottle 330 ml from Csak a Jó Sör, Budapest. Pours black with medium brown head. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, licorice. Well hidden alcohol. Medium to full body. Expected something raw and not too complex but this was a pleasant surprise.
