Can at home. Aroma is pale malt, biscuits, mild hops and fruity citrussy notes, touch of caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Not great, but certainly a nicely drinkable ale.

33cl bouteille de Systembolaget Sigtuna. BB 12/02/2024. Dégustée à l’hôtel.
Dorée pâle présentant un léger voile, col blanc crémeux tenace.
Arôme sur un bouquet de grains concassés, garde ce côté organique qui se retrouve dans d'autres bières de ce type. Petite note de drêche, houblonné léger en rétro-nasal, finement fleuri.
Palais sur un malté plaisant léger pâle et pils, petite note biscuitée, grains concassés, houblonné sur le fleuri - fruité (agrumes) et pointe rappelant le sureau.

Can. Clearer yellow golden, larger white head, lasting. Medium fruity nose, sweet and quite flowery, later on some grass and herbs. Mild bitterness, a bit grassy and not much more there. Mild aftertaste. A bit grassy and herbal. Light. Almost a bit watery. Average.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma: hoppy, citrus, spruce, light tropical fruits. Taste: light sweet & bitter, fresh, juicy, light pine. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Can at Systembolaget . A decent ale which tastes a bit like it came from cask. Nice honey flavour, malts. Rough on palate, bitter. (23/1/18) --- Bottle from Systembolaget. Didn't realise I had already had this. So aroma is a nice cask smell. Clear gold appearance. I think this is one of the few beers where the Sigtuna taste, that very clingy bitter musty hop taste, works well. I must be homesick stuck here for so many months but this beer tastes like a good organic cask ale. Where is the cask at akurrat et al for this? A really easy drinking homely beer. Gotta be in the mood for that bitter ending though as it is looonnnnng. 3.1 to 3.2.
